Access and Opportunity Grant

The Saginaw Community Foundation Access and Opportunity Grant Program will support projects that advance and improve equity and inclusion in our community. Qualifying applicants must be a 501(C)(3) nonprofit organization. The Saginaw Community Foundation Access and Opportunity Grant Program is open to all applications that address diversity, equity, inclusion, belonging and/or justice (see definitions below).

This grant program is made possible by a grant from the Consumers Energy Foundation. Their investment in people, the planet, and Michigan’s prosperity is grounded in its commitment to the values of diversity, equity and inclusion. Saginaw Community Foundation has been selected as one of 12 community foundations in Michigan to receive a $20,000 grant from the Consumers Energy Foundation.

Applications for the Access and Opportunity Grant Program are due by Oct. 31. At least four grants of up to $5,000 will be awarded by Dec. 1, 2025. Projects must be completed by Nov. 30, 2026.

Before beginning your application, please contact Brian Jackson, director of community partnerships & special initiatives, at (989) 755-0545 or brian@saginawfoundation.org to discuss your project and to receive a grant number.
