United Advisory Scholarship Commission Scholarship – William and Cordula Freese Scholarship

The William and Cordula Freese Scholarship was created in 1982 to assist students with visual or physical impairments. William Freese, who was visually impaired, and his wife Cordula, created a living trust to assist handicapped students obtain a college education.

 Qualifications

  • Graduating high school senior or enrolled college student
  • Saginaw County resident
  • Visually or otherwise physically impaired
  • Full-time enrollment

Evaluation Criteria

  • Scholastic record
  • Financial need
  • Overall involvement in community, school and work activities
