When Frederick R. Strutz passed away in 1970, he left instructions in his will that a scholarship fund be created in memory of his family, which included his late wife Anna and his son Edwin E. Strutz who passed away in 1976. This scholarship is available to any male student graduating from Saginaw United High School or Saginaw Arts & Sciences Academy and residing in the Saginaw Public School District. This $4,000 scholarship is payable over four years.
