Pam Thompson was known to her colleagues and students as a dedicated and giving teacher. In her classes, in her service as department chair and lead science teacher, in her general presence at Arthur Hill High School, she established a warm yet disciplined presence which lives on in the accomplishments of her students and the memories of her friends and family. The Pam Thompson Scholarship in Chemistry has been established to extend her influence as a teacher to students from Arthur Hill High School who have excelled in chemistry and who wish to pursue a college degree.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2.5 GPA
- Graduating senior from Saginaw United High School
- Full- or part-time enrollment
- Pursuing undergraduate degree
- Recommendation must be from a teacher at Saginaw United High School
