HSC CARE Fund

The HSC Community and Regional Empowerment (CARE) Grant provides up to $10,000 locally and $30,000 regionally to 501(c)(3) organizations, schools and units of government for projects and programs that align with HSC’s values and purpose: transforming lives by connecting and energizing the world through silicon technology. Funding is available in two categories:

  • CARE Grants focus on supporting initiatives that demonstrate a commitment to improving quality of life, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics), and workforce development, but they are not limited to these areas.
  • Projects and programs addressing other community needs that align with HSC’s values of teamwork, responsibility, excellence, and customer focus are also encouraged.

Applications for grants are managed through the Saginaw Community Foundation, Bay Area Community Foundation and Midland Area Community Foundation. Applicants seeking grant funding for projects that will impact Saginaw County and/or Saginaw, Bay and Midland counties, must first reach out to Kendra Kempf, competitive grants program officer, to discuss the proposed project. After eligibility is determined, application information will be emailed. Please contact Kendra by emailing kendra@saginawfoundation.org to schedule a phone discussion.

The current 2025 grant application deadline is January 31.
