Carrollton Education Foundation – Max and Caroline Fisher Memorial Scholarship

Max and Caroline Fisher were long-time residents of Carrollton Township, where they raised four children – Cheryl, Mark, Craig and Michelle – all of whom graduated from Carrollton High School.

Max was a past president of the Carrollton Athletic Association and the Carrollton Lions Club. After Max’s retirement, he was a volunteer with the HOSTS program at Carrollton Elementary School where he helped students improve their reading skills. He also was an official for SVSU track.

Caroline was the founder of the Carrollton Education Foundation, established in October 1997, to provide a permanent source of supplemental funding to improve the quality of education for all Carrollton students.

It is the hope of the Fisher family that the recipient of the Max and Caroline Fisher Memorial Scholarship recognizes the value of community involvement and the importance of service to others.
