The CAC/Robert L. Viera Community Service Scholarship, established in 1998, is given to assist high school seniors who will be attending an accredited institution of higher learning on a full-time basis and who demonstrate financial need. The donor, Community Action Committee, Inc. (CAC), recognizes there may be students who, due to special circumstances, can attend college only part-time. These special circumstances might include such things as employment, medical disability or the demands of single parenting. All special circumstances will be given due consideration.
The CAC/Robert L. Viera Community Service Scholarship is dedicated to, and is a lasting tribute to Robert Viera, who provided leadership on behalf of minorities and the low-income community.
