The William and Cordula Freese Scholarship was created in 1982 to assist students with visual or physical impairments. William Freese, who was visually impaired, and his wife Cordula, created a living trust to assist handicapped students obtain a college education.
Qualifications
- Graduating high school senior or enrolled college student
- Saginaw County resident
- Visually or otherwise physically impaired
- Full-time enrollment
Evaluation Criteria
- Scholastic record
- Financial need
- Overall involvement in community, school and work activities
