Ken and Eileen Gross Memorial Scholarship

The Ken and Eileen Gross scholarship was established by close friends John and Martha Mahar with a goal to assist high school graduates who intend to further their education at the college level.

Ken was a Central Michigan University graduate who worked in the Saginaw Public School system for 30+ years – first as a teacher at Central Junior High School and later as a homebound teacher for those students unable to attend classes in person. His dedication to his job was at the highest level.

Eileen also a Central Michigan University graduate was a commercial property manager across the mid-Michigan area. She later had her own quilting business.

The scholarship honoring the legacy of Ken and Eileen is available to all current graduating seniors in Saginaw County that are entering a teacher education program.
