The primary purpose of the association is to act as a benevolent organization for police officers and their families in times of need. This could include injury or death.
Patricia and Denny Meyer, who were Saginaw Township residents, donated a sizeable portion of their trust at the time of their passing to the (STPOA). To honor their memory, an endowment scholarship has been established in their name. The endowment scholarship is made available to only children of Saginaw Township police officers.
