For Donors
The Saginaw Community Foundation offers a unique way to give back to your community. Not only will your contribution benefit our community now, it will continue to support programs in the future.
How it works
If you donate to an endowment or set up your own endowment, the original amount you donate will always be with the Saginaw Community Foundation. It will be left untouched and will continue to grow as it gains interest and value through our investments. However, a percentage of monies earned above and beyond the principal can be awarded in the form of grants or scholarships. To learn more, review our financial information.
Giving to what matters to you
The Saginaw Community Foundation administers a variety of funds. We can help you find a fund that matches your philanthropic interests or help you set-up a fund of your own. Check out our donor resources to learn more.
Give now … or later
You can choose to give now, or make plans to give in the future. The foundation accepts cash, checks, money orders and major credit cards. You also can give real estate, life insurance, fine art, retirement savings, appreciated securities, stocks, bonds and business assets.
