Alpha Delta Kappa is an international honorary organization of women educators who are dedicated to educational excellence, altruism, and world understanding. More than 29,000 women around the world have discovered the opportunities for professional, as well as, personal growth and for collectively channeling their energies toward the good of their schools and communities.
The Saginaw Alpha Sigma Chapter was chartered in 1963. This scholarship was established in 2018 as a lasting legacy of the many women in the Saginaw area who have devoted their lives to continuing educational excellence. The purpose of this scholarship is to encourage and prepare students for a career in education.
