Education is vital to the growth and future of every community. No one realizes that more than all of us at SCF.
Since 1987 when our first scholarship was awarded, we have provided more than $2 million to area students to help with the cost of pursuing a post-secondary education. We now administer over 140 scholarships, helping to fulfill the wishes of donors who want to provide financial support to promising students.
The purpose of each scholarship is unique. Some are for high school seniors pursuing undergraduate studies, others are for vocational training or graduate school, and yet others are for nontraditional students, perhaps an older woman returning to college.
2008-2009 scholarship application deadline has passed. The deadline for submission was February 15 and students were notified of the status of their application the beginning of May. The 2009-2010 on-line scholarship application will be available in November, 2008. If you have any questions, you may contact the foundation at 989-755-0545.
